Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway Expected to Fully Open Before May 18
The Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway continues to make significant progress as the remaining 16 km section of Component Project 1 is being accelerated for completion, with the entire route expected to open before May 18. Previously, more than 37 km of Component Projects 2 and 3 were officially opened to traffic on April 29.
With a total length of nearly 54 km and a scale of 4-6 lanes, the expressway is considered a key transportation infrastructure project for Southern Vietnam. Once fully operational, the route will reduce congestion on National Highway 51, shorten travel time between Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, and Vung Tau, and strengthen connectivity to Long Thanh International Airport, the Cai Mep – Thi Vai port cluster, and major industrial zones.
.
According to project updates, Component Project 1 has already completed over 90% of its construction volume. Key works such as median barriers, traffic signs, signal systems, and technical infrastructure are being finalized to ensure synchronized operation in May.

For GTI, this infrastructure milestone represents a major advantage for industrial and logistics development in Southern Vietnam. The completed expressway will provide businesses with faster and more efficient connectivity to Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, and international seaport systems.
GTI continues to support industrial growth through modern ready-built factories, integrated infrastructure, and strategically connected locations for both domestic and international investors.
