20 YEARS BUILDING VIETNAM’S INDUSTRIAL FUTURE: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, GTC!
As the founder of GTC, I’d like to extend our deepest gratitude and best wishes to all our employees, past and present, on the occasion of our 20th anniversary.
We established GTC in April 2004, initially focusing on providing machinery and equipment alongside construction services. In 2006, we officially entered the construction market, and have faced two decades of both challenges and triumphs.
Back in the early days, our workforce was young and inexperienced, and our systems were still under development. Fueled by passion and dedication, however, our close-knit team worked tirelessly towards shared goals, propelling our company forward.
After 13 successful years as a general contractor, 2017 marked a significant turning point. Seeking a new direction for the future, we made a bold decision to invest in the industrial real estate sector, specifically focusing on leasing factories and workshops.
This new venture began in 2019 with the development of our first realdy built factory project in Nhơn Trạch 6 Industrial Park. Entering the unfamiliar territory of industrial real estate presented its own set of challenges. From managing investment cash flow to balancing finances for the construction sector, our team embraced a learn-as-you-go approach, adapting and overcoming obstacles. Their efforts were rewarded with the project’s successful completion on schedule and achieving full occupancy within a year.
Continuing our expansion, we developed a second rental factory in Nhơn Trạch 3 Industrial Park in 2023, further solidifying our presence in the market. This factory is already welcoming its first tenants.
Looking ahead, we plan to keep growing. In 2024, we’ll begin construction on our third factory project in Châu Đức Industrial Park, with a projected handover and operational launch in 2025.
From 2024 to 2029, we aim to maintain our construction business as a D&B general contractor, catering to FDI clients. For the industrial real estate sector, our goal is to bring an additional 50,000 square meters into operation, reaching a total of 100,000 square meters of rental factories.
